Fun day organizers know the pattern: most stations hold a kid for ninety seconds. A race track holds them for a full heat — and then they get back in line. Heats of 6–8 rotate fast, so a single track entertains an entire grade level in an afternoon.
THE STEM ANGLE IS REAL
These aren’t toys — they’re machines with differentials, suspension geometry, battery management, and lap-time data. We’re happy to run a short “how it works” segment between heats: gear ratios, why the car understeers, what the telemetry shows. Racing that doubles as an engineering demo — principals approve budgets for that.
FUNDRAISERS THAT FUND
Sell race entries as carnival tickets — the line pays for the station. We handle throughput, timing, and a season-style leaderboard; the PTA counts the proceeds. For multi-day festivals, ask about our daily-finals format that keeps families coming back.
